What’s free?

Designing, exporting and downloading are free — every editor, and every high-res PNG and laser-ready SVG, with no export limits. Go Pro ($29/mo, first month free) to save your designs to your My Maps library and unlock the historic 3D-overlay prints. Photo Art is the one metered feature — 5 free portraits for everyone, or 20 a month then billed per use on Pro. Listing, selling, browsing and buying in the marketplace are always free.

What file types do I get for laser cutting?

Layered, welded SVG that’s ready for LightBurn and other laser software — each feature on its own layer, with a solid frame the roads fuse into so the piece cuts as one connected part.

Can I sell maps I design?

Yes. List your maps — or your own artwork, scans and cut files — in the marketplace. Buyers see public example images and get the deliverable files after they order.

Do I need to install anything?

No. mapx runs entirely in your browser. Your work autosaves, with undo/redo and a personal map library.

Can my team use it together?
